Sir, I’m here to help but I need more detail on what you have tried. This isn't an isolated frustration, there are countless forums online complaining of the same issues.Go look yourself, they're not hard to find. If you're so concerned about customer care, offer me a refund. Same with Forza Horizons 4, F1 2019, Dirt.
#BUS SIMULATOR 18 STEERING WHEEL SETUP DRIVERS#
The latest drivers for the game installed and have meticulously gone through the settings in game. I have the wheel plugged in and GHub up to date. But to me, there's a gulf of difference between native support and me having to map everything and then labour through the countless other settings from an 'unrecognised device'.Īs for GRID, I have ensured no other controllers are conflicting on steam, or indeed ticked. If the wheel/pedals/controls needs setting up manually with a device the game assumes is generic, then respectfully. So why not make the distinction between what you describe as ' definitely natively' and 'needs setting up' on your website? But you don't, (it only mentions trueforce and clutch). As time goes on and more new titles come out and some older titles get updated, these issues will become a thing of the past.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that the G29 and G920 had the exact same issues with titles when they first came out, as did any wheel on the market. Honestly, it would be a shame to let this stop you, especially when we know already that FM7 has a sequel coming that will fully support the G923. Oh and you would need to program the Escape key to the Xbox button. For example you could program the up and down cursor keys to the + and - buttons on the wheel, the left and right cursor keys to the left and right directions of the dial and then the return key to the accept button in the centre of the dial. There is one way around this potentially: use G HUB to program functions on the wheel with the cursor and return keys. It's unfortunate that they did not allow for people to reconfigure every control function in the game, such as menu navigation. We can not directly address the issue you face in FM7 because we do not control the game.

If anything was checked, then that would be the cause of the issue.įor Forza Horizon 4 have you tried the points I posted earlier in this thread? For all of this it would be helpful if you could post what you have tried and also whether it works in other titles.ĭaniel Šírek Wheels working by default in titles is not necessarily the de facto standard for PC gaming - in fact some titles, such as iRacing and Assetto Corsa insist that you set the wheel up in them before you can use them, regardless of which wheel you have.

You should just need to go into the controls screen, select the wheel section and then start reassigning controls but there's two issues that have come up for some people. We can get it working no problem when testing (and we know of lots of others that are fine as well) but some people have to try a couple of different things to make it work. Yes, we've seen a few people with issues with FH4 due to the very restrictive way in which UWP games have to support wheels.
